Job Description
- Prepare Financial BID proposal as per plan / drawings & specification as indicated in the Tender BID Documents
- Comply and review Technical & Financial BID prior to submission
- Preparation of documents needed prior to contract signing
- Monitor Accomplishment of the project (SWA statement of work accomplished) on a monthly basis.
- Check quantities take off of materials of the project and compare with the estimates used in the bidding.
- Ensure that file structures are consistent across projects, and that project teams are populating information correctly (ex. drawings and specs, permits, submittals, etc.)
- Draft Purchase Requisitions, Prime Contracts, and Change Orders for Project Manager review and approval based upon project scope, schedule, and budget requirements, to ensure scope of work, compensation, and time are accurately represented in the contract.
- Develop construction specifications and procedures
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials
- Interpret, review and approve survey and civil design work
- Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations
- Establish, monitor, maintain and update construction work schedules
- Conduct feasibility studies, economic analyses, municipal and regional traffic studies, environmental impact studies or other investigations
- Monitor air, water and soil quality and develop procedures to clean up contaminated sites
- Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects
- Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Civil Engineering preferably licensed
- At least 2-3 years experience as Office or Site Engineer, preferably with 1-year experience in Project Site.
- Knowledge in Auto Cadd
- At least 2 years experience in high rise building
- With experience in estimates and bidding
