Job Description
- Provides legal representation to a corporation or other business and its employees.
- Offers advice on legal matters.
- Performs legal research for the benefit of an employee of their parent corporation.
- Offers advice on issues related but not limited to the following:
- Contracts
- Property interests
- Collective bargaining
- Agreements
- Government regulations and patents
- Represents their employers in court, in the case of a lawsuit or other legal preceedings.
- Takes part in settlement negotiations or depose witnesses if needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and manage multi-faceted projects in a fast-paced environment
- Licensed to practice law.
- In-house legal experience.
- With Litigation experiences.
- Experience with and understanding of the legal issues related to the following areas:
- Connected devices and related services’ concepts and terminology.
- Product sourcing transactions.
- Consumer laws and regulations for goods and services.
- Ecommerce
- Construction law, regulations, and licensure.
- Strong academic credentials.
- High energy and a dedication to client service.
- Uncompromising honesty and integrity.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Exceptional skills in the following:
- Communicating
- Presenting and facilitating
- Interacting confidently, persuasively, and diplomatically
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and projects, and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Able to collaborate within a team as well as operate independently.
- Retail, Construction, Home Improvement, Marketing, or Home-Related Consumer Goods or Services work experience
- Strong interest in innovation.
