The position is responsible for assisting the Head of Technical Operations in the nation-wide implementation, maintenance, and administration of the iXS network. Also, carries out coordination, installation, testing, and technical tasks in support of the local and wide area wired and wireless network systems and participate in developing and implementing network security procedures and network management plans.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related courses
- Relevant industry certifications (CCNP or CCIE).
- Minimum 5-8 years hands on experience troubleshooting and maintaining Enterprise or Carrier LAN/WAN environments.
- Strong technical subject matter expertise on Cisco and Mikrotik platforms.
- Strong understanding and expertise in:
- Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and switching (VLAN, QinQ, Trunking, Dot1x, various flavors of STP) protocols.
- IPSec, VPNs, GRE, NAT/PAT over varied platforms
- Knowledge of MPLS, QoS and security technologies
- Knowledge in ITIL process
- Experience in working on circuit (SDH, Ethernet) troubleshooting would be preferred
