Job Description
The Sales Support Specialist will primarily support sales initiatives by reaching out to potential clients and accurately uploading data into our Pipedrive and PM tools. He/She will take ownership of our incoming and current leads within IV.AI’s client database. In this role, the specialist will be introduced to the process of selling our unique software based on the client’s needs. A brief training program will be given by the Head of Sales/Operations which will give the specialist exposure to each stage of our technology sale. This program requires each candidate to work through several inside sales roles and may be assigned to other support related task. Roles include sales team support; mastery of product knowledge; market analysis/identification of target accounts, sectors and industries; a good mix of project management and reports generation; schedule maintenance of the CEO and Heads of Region (APAC, UK,US) Once the specialist masters these roles, specifically the IV.AI selling processes, new advancement opportunities to field sales may be made available.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
- Liaison between sales teams and other functional groups such as client success teams, finance, contract management, and/or overall operations.
- Ensure that the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met in accordance with business goals
- Work within the Project Management Tool and tracking systems
- Resolve issues related to pre/post sales and provides updates to the team accordingly.
- Answer product inquiries and route potential lead to Sales Head if applicable.
- Work with account maintenance/contracts team to update customer records with sales contracts and other information.
- Uses pre-established procedures and guidelines to respond to requests/queries from internal and end-user customers, partners and distributors via phone, web, and email.
- Provide licensing reports, conversions, splits, rescission and evaluations to the inside sales team for customers.
- Document and track the status of inquiries and coordinate appropriate responses with a customer-centric approach.
- Develops and fosters alignment with sales team members as needed to close deals.
- Utilizes our current system and project management tools to manage and assist sales teams with pre-and post-sales support.
- Promotes a team environment by assisting with training and development of novice employees to enhance skills and abilities in the performance of their duties.
- Generates and presents reports as directed by Management.
- Prioritizes workload in order to meet all KPIs, goals, and objectives.
- Proactively sign up for free webinars, sales/company training to improve a product and positioning knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvement that positively impact the department
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- Excellent communication skills with strong relationship building skills.
- Ability to assess information, determine and address problem areas, formulate relevant solutions, and present the solution effectively.
- Intermediate level of expertise using MS Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint, and some project management tools, a plus
- Must possess excellent verbal, written, telephone communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
- Must have an effective and professional demeanor in all interactions with co-workers.
- Must be flexible, dependable and have a willingness to learn, excel and master their position as well as assist where and when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience
- 2 years’ minimum experience in Sales Support
- Work experience in IT Sales an advantage but not required
- Highly organized and systematic approach to given tasks
- With excellent communication, presentation, marketing, and analytical skills
- Excellent work ethics, hardworking with good interpersonal skills
- Driven, goal-oriented and assertive
