Job Description
- Determine price schedules and discount rates;
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service;
- Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications;
- Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products;
- Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their voice and IT requirements.
- Follow-up call on existing clients to offer solution upgrades;
- Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients;
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices;
- Visit prospective buyers at commercial, industrial, or other establishments to demonstrate solutions, and to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages;
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements;
- Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers;
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers;
- Arrange for demonstrations or trial installations of equipment;
- Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery;
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be fluent in English
- At least one year of working experience in sales
- Worked in the IT or telecommunication industry is a plus (but is not a requirement)
- Required skills: fast learner, strategic thinking, resourcefulness, able to build rapport with clients, active listening, focus, organization, persistence
