Job Description
- Improving current business, products or services, or by developing new businesses through a timely and accurate Identification and study of, and taking the appropriate action on market opportunities
- Establishment of iRemit as a top-of-mind remittance company to the Philippines by adopting a focused and carefully prepared brand strategy, the optimal use of cost against media expense and an active promotion and monitoring of brand understanding and equity among internal and external customers.
- Adopting a financially sound advertising and communications process and spending, and by the establishment of promotions specific to the orientation of competition, the market in general and the customers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a University degree in marketing, business administration, or economics
- Two (2) years minimum experience in hands-on marketing position
- Must be knowledgeable on the different remittance products and services
- Must have strong leadership and consensus building skills;
- Entrepreneurial spirit, highly motivated, assertive but a team player.
- Openly shares information, opinions and ideas with others in a manner that promotes clear understanding, the highlighting of important issues and controversies and the ready acceptance of dissenting views or feedback
- Must promote timeliness in product launches and improvements as required by market forces, thereby maintaining a just-in-time product implementation
- Must maintain brand identity in all marketing communications by meeting the brand guidelines
- Must maintain a sound cost-to-long term profit ratio in implementing marketing communications or advertising
- Must be able to execute promotions by utilizing internally and externally, facts and figures of the market as well as existing business processes, to ensure that desired results and objectives are met
- Must be able to utilize speed in promotions-launch by seizing opportunities in the market and by having a deep understanding of the competition, the customer and the organization’s strengths and weaknesses
