Job Description
- Assists the Deputy Compliance Officer in conducting periodic compliance checking that covers, among others, the evaluation of transactions and the assessment of current processes, policies and procedures.
- Prepares report on compliance findings and ensures that infractions are immediately corrected by monitoring the progress and implementation of the respondents' commitments.
- Submits covered and suspicious transaction reports to the Anti-Money Laundering Council.
- Prepares report on the compliance of remitters included in the auto-email alerts.
- Assists in organizing the timing and the content of the Compliance Program.
- Maintains records and documents in relation to AML/ CTF.
- All other duties deemed necessary to support the company's business goals and operations that are reasonably commensurate with this post.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-year college graduate, accounting or other business-related course
- CPA is an advantage but not a requirement
- Audit background/ experience preferred
- Experience in financial institutions preferred
- Knowledgeable of or exposure on AML/ CTF Compliance preferred
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent
