Job Description

  • Develop and manage distribution channels abroad to expand market coverage and increase market share
  • Formulate marketing strategies to be executed by the foreign office to increase sales and profitability
  • Develop new business opportunities that will expand market reach and coverage to increase sales and profitability for the Company
  • Analyze competitor’s data to aid in the formulation of marketing strategies in Foreign Office
  • Conceptualize a marketing strategy that will improve sales and profitability
  • Expand business in other market areas
  • Formulate marketing gimmicks and promos that will boost sales
  • Identify areas for potential volume growth
  • Close deal with prospective business partners
  • Setup win-win dealings with potential partners in Manila and abroad
  • Forecast volume of the region over a specific period
  • Review the monthly financial statements and takes corrective measure as appropriate.
  • Set up and create efficient and effective reporting systems aimed at achieving Management awareness of critical business data, the development of staff skills in this role and recommending needed technology improvements and enhancements.
  • Prepare and implement departmental work plans consistent with overall corporate strategy
  • Set and ensure compliance with work targets in alignment with departmental goals and overall human resource corporate strategy
  • Provide coaching and counseling to team members as needed
  • Prepare and monitor Department Budget Management.
  • Formulate policies and procedures that will govern the department in the effective performance of its duties and responsibilities to the management and the organization as a whole
  • Investigate, identifie, and analyze key issues and the associated alternatives, benefits and costs to develop practical solutions.
  • Exhibit creativity and innovativeness when developing effective solutions and to manage related risks
  • Perform other related functions that may be assigned by the immediate superior.

Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Economics
  • With degree in postgraduate studies in business or equivalent work experience
  • With understanding of relevant legal, technology and communication requirements needed by the business in relation to function being undertaken
  • Three (3) years minimum experience in hands-on marketing position (Preferably with Foreign Office exposure)
  • Two (2) years sales management experience in a managerial capacity gained from financial institutions and or remittance companies
  • Preferably with remittance or banking Industry background
  • Must be knowledgeable on the different remittance products and service
  • Significant work experience as a Country Head is an advantage
  • Strong leadership and consensus building skills; marketing management and strategic planning experience; a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, assertive and with good business acumen
  • Must possess top level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
  • Writes and speaks English at above-average quality
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Pasig City
  • People-oriented and results-driven
