Job Description

  • The Global Customer Support Head oversees the planning of the Global Customer Support Division. S/he is also in charge of the division’s development and management.
  • The Global Customer Support Head is responsible for driving and managing IRemit’s customer support activities for foreign offices, agents, and other external clients, ensuring that all requirements for the Global Customer Support Division (GCS) and the departments under GCS are met or exceeded.
  • The Global Customer Support Head is also responsible for the planning, design and implementation of new customer support initiatives to support current and future business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business discipline.
  • A postgraduate degree is preferred. Equivalent work experience is also a plus.
  • At least four (4) years significant work experience in customer support/service.
  • Two (2) years work experience managing a customer support/relations team, preferably from a financial institution and/or remittance company.
  • With experience in developing service and support strategies and improving service processes and performance, as well as a thorough knowledge of product or service management, strategic planning, along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance.
  • With strong technical and analytical aptitude, and a background in managing budgets effectively, financial reporting, setting up effective metrics and business processes.
  • Results-driven, with exceptional people leadership, development, collaboration and consensus-building skills.
  • With an understanding of relevant legal, technology and communication requirements needed by the business in relation to function being undertaken.
  • Manifests an ability to effectively engage and communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers.
  • Has an entrepreneurial spirit, is a self-starter, is assertive, and is passionate towards customer service.
  • Must possess top-level business management, interpersonal, problem-solving, critical-thinking and facilitation skills.
  • Willing to travel either domestically or internationally.
  • People-oriented and results-driven
