Job Description
- Reviews and implements the identified strategic and operational system by providing support in the evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure. He/She reviews and implements activities relating to systems technology management, research and development and technical documentation to further business development.
- Provides support for software development, including requirements analysis, software design, programming, pilot and functional testing, implementation and installation.
- Reviews and implements the design of basic applications and specifications from requirements. Reviews and implements the utilization of flowcharting, prototyping, and various tools to achieve results (logical operational steps of the program)
- Reviews and implements with the Software Development Team the development of complex applications, which utilize multiple components
- Reviews and implements the designs of highly integrated systems, which align with the overall business objectives of the organization
- Reviews and implements programs and other computerized systems that will handle electronic data processing of remittance transactions by ensuring the utilization of the proper programming tools
- Review and implements with the Software Development Team in the following of basic specifications and instructions
- Reviews and implements with the Software Development Team in programming in the appropriate language to reach a given objective within the defined time frame
- Reviews and implements following of defined standards; reviews and implements independent testing and delivery of business solutions
- Recommends the use of innovation and creativity in all aspects of programming
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a 4 year college degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, or any Information Technology course
- Experience in PowerBuilder 7.0 or above
- Knowledgeable in manipulating SQL Server
- Experienced in Web Development
- Preferably with at least 2 years experience in Programming and Network Infrastructure Systems
- Background with Finance or remittance products or services is an advantage but is not required
- Has solid leadership qualities
- Demonstrates self-sufficiency in programming
