- Planning, scheduling, and assignment of daily, weekly and monthly workloads of all C4 trade disciplines.
- Overall and monitoring the status of scheduled activities.
- Overseeing the job execution of the C4 technicians to ensure that works instructions and procedure are adhered to.
- Estimating materials required for planned and scheduled on-site tasks.
- Balancing of manpower requirements for planned and scheduled on-site tasks.
- Identification of additional and specialized tools and equipment required on site, in liaison with the Site Superintendent.
- Liaison with other O & M site departments and with the client's representative to ensure all necessary safety and Quality Control / Quality Assurance (QA / QC) requirements are identified and implemented.
- Verification of task documentation on completion, including verification of previously identified QA/QC requirements.
- Preparation of daily and weekly time sheets.
- Compilation and submission of task reports.
- Conducting weekly Safety Toolbox meeting to discuss and resolve any problems arising during those weeks operational activities.
- Preparation of training materials, including arrangement of a training schedule and assignments to the trainer Technician
- Monitoring status reports and recording the developments of the training program/ trainee.
- Supporting the Trainer Technician as necessary
- Applying the principles of supervision, (planning /organization/leadership/control) to all daily activities.
- Evaluation of capabilities of personal under his supervision.
- Maintaining an inventory of all materials, equipment, and tooling issued under his control.
- Adhering to the Tool Control Procedures of ACGC and client, as and when required.
- Adherence to the disciplinary procedures lay down by the company.
- Establishing and maintaining effective work teams for completion of their assigned task in an effective and efficient manner.
- Performance of any other supervisory tasks as delegated by Site Superintendent.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Electronics & Communication Engineer or a 2-years Electronic Technology Course in combination with training and experience equivalent to the employment standard that provide required knowledge and abilities.
- Minimum of 10-years working experience in operation and maintenance of telecommunication companies or air base facilities including 5 years in a supervisory position.
- Knowledgeable in principles, theory, methods, materials, and equipment used in the operation and maintenance of electronic communication systems; current and emerging technology in telecommunication
- Must possess a driver's license
- Knowledgeable with the following system:
- Telephone System
- Fibre Optic System
- Close Circuit Television (CCTV)
- Fire Alarm System
- Fault Signalling System (Instrumentation)
- Public Address System
- Intercom System
- Network (LAN or WAN)
- Digital Trunk Radio System (DTRS)
- Intrusion Alarm System
