About Intership Navigation Training Center

ntership Navigation Training Center is a non-stock non-profit organization established in February 25, 1999 and registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with registration number A199902384. Its humble beginning started with just one classroom within the compound of Don Bosco in Tondo, Manila dedicated to address the training needs of the Hartmann group for their Filipino seafarers. Now, ISNTC has grown to be one of the best maritime training centers in the Philippines catering not only to Filipino Hartmann crew but to other manning agencies and shipping companies as well.

As proof of ISNTC’s commitment to quality training, ISNTC has gained certification from the following:

•Germanischer Lloyd

•Philippines Regulation Commission (PRC)

•Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA)

•Technical Education Skill and Development Authority (TESDA)

•Republic of Marshall Island

•Department of Merchant Shipping

•Liberia

ISNTC is proud to be the first and only training center in the Philippines with real ship crane and the only training center in the Philippines with two Full Mission bridges and one Virtual and SAMS Electronic bridge equipped with Raytheon Anschütz Integrated Bridge System. ISNTC also implements a structured e-learning system in partnership with Hartmann e-Learning.

Training at ISNTC focuses more on the practical exercise rather than the conventional approach with longer period of classroom lectures and less of the practical session. With the state of the art training facility and instructors with up to date industry knowledge and expertise, ISNTC provides realistic training that will help trainees to have better judgment, preparedness, awareness and good decision making during critical ship operation.

MISSION AND VISION

Guided and motivated by the Training Center’s aphorism “Training for Competence and Professionalism”, ISNTC aims to be the first and be the best choice- the top professional maritime training and assessment center displaying excellence towards knowledge and skills enhancement while being mindful in the personal, environmental and social responsibility.

ISNTC is committed to:

•Provide seafarers with high quality level standards of training to meet the requirements and satisfaction of our customers, seafarer’s employers, and our employees based on relevant laws, rules and regulations nationally and internationally.

•Improve the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of Filipino seafarers by enhancing and supplementing the existing local and international minimum training standard, to evaluate the competency of seafarer, and familiarize the on-signing crewmembers, to guide and assist seafarer during their career, to ensure personal safety, safe and better-maintained ships, environmental protection, and adherence to Quality System.

ISNTC CORE VALUES

I Integrity through competence and professionalism

S Service for the maritime industry through skills enhancement with international training standards
