Job Description

Join the only sustainable tourism school in the Asia Pacific region as it prepares for exponential growth in 2017!

The Event Manager for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) will be taking the lead in the large-scale annual events organized by the school, such as the Farm Tourism Conference, the Global Youth Forum, the Ecofilm Festival among others. Take charge of building the MICE team within the organization, together with top management. She/he will facilitate the end-to-end event management process, from program conceptualization, budgeting, campaigning for participants and sponsors, logistics and on-site event activities.

Minimum Qualifications

This position is ideal for mid-level events management professionals who are ready to take on key leadership roles. This is a great opportunity to use events management skills to facilitate sustainable tourism and capacity building for key sectors of the industry.

  • 2-3 years work experience in event management
  • At least 1 year work experience in leading a team
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to conceptualize program details based on needs of the sustainable tourism industry
