Job Description
- Prepare monthly/daily work schedules (Capacity Plan), conduct daily toolbox meeting and will discuss safety concerns prior to dispatch of servicemen under him and will see to it that the schedules are followed.
- Input the daily man hours rendered to projects in SAP.
- Conduct regularly on the performance check of all the equipment in his area to check the condition and performance of the particular unit and will make recommendation necessary for its improvement and/or servicing system.
- Prepare all the materials and schedule of all approved repair service, reconstruction and additional features requested by client.
- Coordinate with other sections on matters pertaining to proper maintenance of elevators and escalators.
- Monitor all trouble calls of his area of responsibility and will act accordingly.
- Prepare Quotations for all recommendations written in preventive maintenance service and repair service reports.
- Implement the use of work plan as monitoring of each projects.
- Conduct once or even twice rescue seminar for every project to teach them to know all the basic elevator operation and how to rescue trapped passengers.
- Provide all the necessary documents required by the client in order to release the payment like certification, attachment, warranty certificate, etc.
- Conduct annual check for all hoisting ropes and overhauling brake for all the projects with contracts with or without request to monitor the status of his these two items.
- Establish good and constant contact with the owner/owner’s representatives and will entertain / will propose suggestions / recommendations necessary for the unit’s operation improvement.
- Coordinate / will assist in the collection billings.
- Train and will develop his men to ensure effective performance of their jobs and for personal growth.
- Promote modernization scheme for old and outdated elevator system.
- Implement safety measures at jobsites.
- Perform other service-related task that may be required to carry functions properly.
- Perform other-related task that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
- Report any accident on near project that took place in all projects under him.
- Prepare special information for an elevator with a special device on condition like a hydraulic brake, hanger roller high-speed elevator etc.
- Report to the manager any issues for a violation of regulation possible non-compliance of commitment, conflict of interest or any situation that may compromise the business operation if client relation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any engineering course, preferably licensed.
- Must have at least three (2) years of related experience.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Can relate effectively to all types of people in the organization.
- Can demonstrate strong leadership ability.
- Capable of negotiating effectively with prospective clients.
- Must possess good moral character.
