- User Researcher is CORE role in the global company which lead the whole team to develop the business and product. It’s about how to know user's feeling, requirement and satisfied when they use our e-commerproducts. You have main responsibilities to plan and conduct research studies, do a lot of sketching, researching, data analyzing, and to create profile for each user and build up user's database, and closely working with product management and high level management teams.
- You should be interested in discovering, understanding, and communicating user needs. You will use qualitative and quantitative user research methods to optimize design work, improve product functionality, and increase user satisfaction.
- You will be responsible for end-to-end user research functions with the aim of improving the usefulness and usability of our websites and mobile applications.
- Define problems and opportunities by analyzing user behavior through moderated studies, unmoderated studies, surveys, face to face interviews, remote & lab usability tests, focus groups, etc.
- Work with designers, product managers, engineers, high level management team to better understand what our users are doing and why
- Help create and inspire innovative solutions by providing actionable insights, and share your results company-wide through written and verbal presentations
Minimum Qualifications
- A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., research plans, reports)
- End-to-end experience with all aspects of research (i.e., study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
- Fluent Chinese is an advantage
- BA/BS in HCI, Human Factors, Experimental Psychology, related field, or equivalent experience with a minimum 1-3 years experience
- Strong understanding of strengths and weaknesses of different research methods
- Ability to ask, as well as answer, meaningful questions
