Technical Support  

• Provides technical support for moderately complex problems in a timely manner.
• Attend immediately, request for troubleshooting of editorials pc for immediate solutions.
• Identifies the cause(s), research, assesses, solves and takes action to prevent the system problems from recurring using available resources.
• Serves as a first level technical support person to nontechnical administrators, staff, editors, and to other professionals in the provision of all microcomputer technical support and services system-wide.
• Responsible for the Repair and Maintenance of office WorkStation PC
• Performs moderately simple installations & troubleshoots use of Datacomm supported applications & clients, TCP/IP client installations e.g., Telnet, FTP, web, email clients, network setup & connection (both direct & mobile network connections).
• Responsible for controlling access permissions and privileges
• Responsible for Monitoring of Server
• Responsible for mobile VPN client security and configuration
• Perform and maintain web servers and download weblogs
• Responsible for the administer and configuration and of email account and server. This includes being on call 24/7 in case situations like these do occur.
• Performs in-depth technical support and problem resolution on all local area network (LAN) problems for all supported network operating systems such as Linux, Windows 2000, Windows Xp, OS X, etc.

Education: College Graduate, preferably B.S Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineer

Work Experience: At least 1 year of work experience in the following:

• Networking Protocols
• Client-side and web-based internet technologies
• Network tropology infrastructure installation and maintenance
