Video Producer (News)
1. Monitors, pitches, researches, pursues, and develops stories into online video news reports
2. Rewrites stories from reporters and packages them into AVs (audio-video package) for the daily newscast
3. Schedules and conducts interviews of case studies and resource persons (via zoom/on site)
4. Supervises the pre-production, actual coverage, and acts as team leader when on field duty
5. Oversees the post-production and coordinates with the video editor for the visual requirements of news stories
6. In the absence of the Video Production Head, he/she spearheads the video production and coordinates with the Central News Desk and other concerned departments
7. Performs other duties as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
For Video Producer (News)
Education:
- College graduate, preferably major in Broadcast Communication or Journalism.
Work Experience:
-
At least 2 - 3 years in TV News Production / Digital News Production.
Knowledge and Skills:
- News production, proficiency in video editing softwares (Adobe Premiere Pro/FCP) copy editing, mobile journalism.
For Video Producer (Documentary/Features)
Education:
-
College graduate, preferably major in Broadcast Communication or Journalism.
Work Experience:
- At least 1- 2 years in Video Production (TV or Digital).
Knowledge and Skills:
-
Creative storytelling, video journalism, proficiency in video editing softwares (Premiere/FCP).
