Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Pitching products and/or services
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Reviewing contracts and legal documents related to key accounts and projects
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing and sales initiatives
  • Must have experience in selling to the Financial Services, FMCG, Retail, Telco, BPO Industry (Customer Service, HR, IT, Marketing, etc.)
  • Presenting to clients and leading meetings

When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include :

  • Researching organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

When it comes to the challenge of actually selling, other typical duties include:

  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
  • Developing quotes and proposals
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
  • Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
  • Training and managing personnel and helping team members develop their skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have an experience in software product selling account management
  • 2-3 years proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Must have experience in selling to the Shared Services BPO Industry (Customer Service, HR, IT, Finance)
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience with the Shared Services Industry and Software Development is a plus
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Excellent Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
