Responsibilities

Working with a team of Software Developers, you will be responsible for delivering solutions for Inform Group and our awesome portfolio of clients.

Job Description:

• System development
  • Write re-usable, well designed and extensively commented code
  • Responsible for structured testing of applications (unit test plan, etc.)
  • Ensure code is version-controlled regularly
  • Determination of use of third-party libraries as required
• Produce documentation to support the software development life cycle
  • Functional specifications
  • Technical specifications
• Meet deadlines and timeframes, escalating any risks in not meeting dates
• Provide a regular line of communication regarding status of projects

To apply for this position, you will require a minimum of 5-years commercial experience with proven ability in server-side development. You will be responsible for deploying solutions predominately using the .NET framework including ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server.

What Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for a developer who encompasses the following:

Must have:

• Strong experience in ASP.NET (C#) – Web Forms and MVC
• .NET Framework 4+ experience
• Entity Framework 6+
• Comfortable working with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, responsive website designs
• Experience with incorporating third party controls into applications (e.g. jQuery plugins)
• Experience with consuming REST API services
• SQL Server 2008
• Experience managing Git source control (or Subversion)
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative for continuous improvement
• Awesome English communication skills (both written and verbal)

Good to have:

• SQL Server Reporting Services
• Good understanding of managing production servers
• Managing websites in IIS (redirects, URL rewrites, etc)
• Managing scheduled tasks
• Installing/updating Windows services
• Installing SSL certificates
• ODBC connections
• Experience using/integrating with CRM platforms (e.g. SalesForce)
• Experience using/integrating with Marketing Automation platforms (e.g. Marketo and Eloqua)
• WordPress or other CMS
