IT Sales Account Specialist Trainee  

The chosen individuals will be provided training on skills and competencies needed by a IT Sales Account Specialist and after 4-5 months will be assessed for ability to satisfactorily perform the functions of the position. Individuals who pass the assessment will be considered for employment as IT Sales Account Specialist.

Training and assignments will be given on the following areas:
(1) Prospecting
(2) Understanding prospective customer's processes and pains
(3) Collaborating with Product Specialist in crafting a solution
(4) Creating a business case to prove viability of a solution
(5) Presenting solution to stakeholders
(6) Negotiating with the client for best price/performance package

• Will be subjected to general skills and cognitive ability assessment.
• Assigned to generate prospects for new business opportunities.
• Gathers and documents information on client’s profile and business requirements as maybe required.
• Prepares and organizes materials such as brochures and other materials for existing or prospective clients.
• Updates self on products, services, competition, industry and IT trends.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Industrial Engineering

• Good communication skills

• Confident in relating to and working with people in authority

• No prior work experience needed

• Familiar with using office systems, i.e. Outlook

• Intermediate MS Excel skills

• Ability to work independently

• Good interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
