Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review list (excel) of local test result names, confirm and mark whether it is a matching with a suggested standard LOINC test code / name.
- local test result name
- local test panel name (if available)
- local test result value distribution - min, max, mean (if numeric)
- local test unit of measurement (if available)
- local test normal range (if available)
- local test specimen source (if available)
- target LOINC code
- target LOINC test name
- machine suggested possibility of matching of local test name to the listed target LOINC test
- For local test that is marked as no-matching for recommended LOINC test, provide a suggestion of possible test name or additional information needed for making the final decision.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified Medical Technician / Medical Technologist
- Must have hospital or clinic experience of at least a year
- Solid knowledge of LOINC concepts
- Understand how lab tests are ordered and resulted (panels and components)
- Knowledge of different test methods and resulted value types, unit of measurements and normal ranges
- Able to use Microsoft excel
