About Industron Inc.
In 1960, the Company started as Manila Industrial Electronic Works, a contractor in Industrial Electronic Instrumentation and Controls. All industrial electronic equipment sold by Manila Industrial Electronic Works were designed and manufactured in the Philippines per specific order.
In 1968, Industron Incorporated built and installed the first Musically Dancing Fountain in the Philippines in Fort Santiago. From this time on, Industron built numerous fountains in Rizal Park, and in other parts in the Philippines.
In 1979, the Company became Industron Incorporated, a family corporation that is now the No. 1 designer and builder of fountains in the Philippines.
In 1996, Industron built several fountains including the Liwasang Bonifacio Musically Dancing Fountain in Lawton, Manila.
In 2002, Mayor Atienza commissioned Industron to repair and upgrade the Liwasang Bonifacio fountain, which sparked public interest in fountains, leading to the construction of the Rajah Sulayman Musically Dancing Fountain. In turn, various contractors and engineers would search for the constructors of these fountains and would be referred to Industron, by Manila City Hall.
Each fountain component is custom designed and created in the Philippines. These components include the nozzles, pumps, LED underwater lamp housings, robotics, and all fountain controls.
