Job Description
Role Summary
We’re looking for a motivated & creative Web Designer for our client, David Petersen (NHM). The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to sharpen their web design skills, enjoys creative problem-solving, and thrives in a team environment. The team is constantly exploring new and innovative projects and ideas, giving you a great place to grow your career.
Responsibilities
- Converting graphic, video, and written components into compatible formats for the web
- Assisting the web design & development team with all aspects of website design
- Using user feedback to identify and correct problems with the client's website
- Assisting with testing and maintenance of client websites
- Collaborating with developers to implement new web features
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest web technology trends
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements
- At least 1-year experience in web design
- At least 1-2 years of experience in graphic design
- WordPress development experience
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Portfolio of sample work
- Basic understanding of HTML & CSS
- Understanding of UX/UI (user experience/user interface) design
- Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization)
- Good visual design sense
- Experience in responding well to clients’ design requests
- Must be willing to work US Pacific Office Hours (12AM-9AM PHT)
Nice to have
- Experience in a startup environment or similarly a fast-paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic environment.
