Job Summary: The Regional Visual Merchandiser is responsible for developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies and guidelines across a designatedregion/cluster. This role aims to maximize sales, enhance the brand image, and create an inviting shopping environment.
- Visual Merchandising Strategy: Develop and execute a regional visual merchandising strategy in alignment with the company's overall brand objectives.
- Store Visits and Audits: Regularly visit retail locations within the region/cluster to ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards and guidelines.
- Planogram Development: Create planograms and merchandise layouts that optimize product placement and highlight key collections or seasonal items.
- Fixture Placement: Determine the placement of fixtures, racks, and displays to maximize space utilization and traffic flow while adhering to safety regulations.
- Visual Displays: Design and set up eye-catching window displays, in-store displays, and product presentations to attract and engage customers.
- Visual Guidelines: Develop and distribute visual merchandising guidelines to store teams, ensuring consistent implementation.
- Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching to store staff on visual merchandising techniques, including proper product handling, folding, and display maintenance.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure that merchandise is replenished and rotated appropriately to maintain freshness and relevance.
- Feedback and Reporting: Collect feedback from store managers and customers to continuously improve visual merchandising strategies. Prepare and submit regular reports on visual merchandising performance within the region.
- Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets for visual merchandising materials, fixtures, and supplies.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to adapt and enhance visual merchandising strategies accordingly.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and legal requirements in visual merchandising activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the fashion retail industry.
- Strong creativity and design skills.
- Excellent knowledge of current fashion trends.
- Proficiency in visual merchandising software and tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel within the region as required.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is a plus
