Garment Manufacturing Director  

Directly Responsible In The Areas Of:

Merchandising

• Oversee the preparation of planning for processing of materials by functions of process planning, loading, and scheduling.
• Compares the Actual Performance versus the Planned Performance.
• Required to take Corrective Action as and when required in terms of RE-Planning so that shipping promises are being kept as well as the percentage of orders shipped on time.
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of work orders to factory operations and assure proper workflow.
• Manage all relevant technical plans and information regarding production orders, including materials availability, capacity computation, and critical path management, in order to create production plans.
• Clarify and set up production standards before production through pre-production meetings.
• Oversee product costing and consumption.
• Forecast the requirement of Production in order to achieve the Production Target as well as meeting the launch date.

Product Development

• Undertakes the responsibility for overseeing matters at Product Development stages where Proto sample, size set sample, design changes are made and completed.
• Oversee model fittings to reduce the numbers of sample development by getting 1 fit approval and helping fitters in pattern adjustments.
• Provide technical supports to factories in achieving the correct fit by providing pattern enhancement techniques.
• Initiate product engineering ideas such as material substitution suggestions, construction changes and operation reduction with the aim of providing a more cost-competitive sample while staying true to aesthetic and functional requirements of samples.

Production

• Plans, Schedules, Strategize and oversees all production activities while maintaining profitability.
• Responsible for the effective and efficient scheduling of man-machine to reduce bottlenecks and challenges in the production process.
• Manage, plan, and execute production schedules to achieve 100% on-time delivery.
• Analyze all phases of WIP (work-in-process) and make judgments regarding workforce adjustments and follow-up action.
• Develop changes, where production control and related policies and procedures are inadequate and ensure all required processes, are documented and up to date and all assigned personnel are trained to release procedures.
• Implement the kaizen mindset in the whole factory, so as to have continuous improvement and involve each member of the production team to continuously innovate.
• Oversee the preparation of hand-over technical information package from Product Development to production, ensuring all pertinent information regarding the products are clearly and completely stated.
• Manage the production department on production capacities, status, short shipment & other matters affecting the orders to reflect in the overall production plan of the factory.
• Provide Technical support to factories in reducing production costs.
• Be able to deliver on-time shipments.

Quality Control

• Responsible for maintaining minimal up to zero number of defects.
• Required to facilitate productivity and quality standards in the production process.
• Manage the quality assurance system and procedure.
• Oversee in line follow-ups to reduce final inspections rejections.

Other Tasks

• Able to maintain a congenial work environment by maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ensure that all Managers under his supervision are aligned with the company goals that foster Integrity, Passion, Excellence, and Teamwork.
• Should have a keen desire and ability to successfully lead others.
• Supervises and motivates the support staff on a regular basis by having a team approach and also by maintaining open communication.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or It’s Equivalent.
• More than Ten (10) Years of Managerial Experience in multi-national Garments Manufacturing.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must be systematic in Planning, Organizing, and implementing tasks.
• Must have an aptitude for analyzing facts and figures.
• Proficient in MS Application and internet use.
• Willing and able to work in Pasig City from Monday to Saturday.
• Filipino Citizen only.
