IKEA FOOD PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS AND COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST  

In order to secure the work to ensure the IKEA Global Food Range is compliant to Indonesian food law and standards and the products are register in the country.

1. Ensure that IKEA Global Food range is sellable in the market and complies with government regulations regarding safety, environment, health, quality and mandatory standards.
2. Ensure changes to national legislation and standards are closely monitored and communicated to IFS in a timely manner.
3. Lead the work toward product registration.
4. Monitor deviations and product changes and register them with relevant ministries.
5. Work proactively building up external network in order to follow and influence the development of food product laws and standards, which could affect IKEA Indonesia.
6. Work closely an maintain good relation with officials at BPOM Jakarta, BPOM local, custom, ministry of fishery, Ministry of agriculture, KAN, Majelis Ulama, Consumer Groups.
7. Secure handling of product related safety, quality and environmental issues is an effective way to support IKEA Indonesia and the final consumer.
8. Agree the future range with Country Food Manager or SFM/ Restaurant Manager.
9. Handle safety alarms and recall communication packages.

1. Organized and methodical in daily operation, capable of multitasking and planning for months in advance.
2. Ability to quickly develop knowledge of local markets and product legislation conditions.
3. Highly developed skills for building networks internally and externally with national and local authorities and consumer groups.
4. Ideally, knowledge of national product legislation, market situation and trends in Indonesia.
5. Fluent in spoken and written English and able to communicate confidently and clearly.
6. Good Knowledge in BPOM Jakarta, BPOM local, custom, ministry of fishery, Ministry of agriculture, KAN, Majelis Ulama, Consumer Groups Regulations.
7. Expertise in Secure handling of product related safety, quality and environmental issues.
8. Excellent change and stakeholder management skills and understand how to apply them within a very ambiguous environment requiring cross functional collaboration.
9. Have the capacity to prioritize and choose decision with simplicity and speed and to follow up on work done and capture learnings to improve.
