Java Software Engineer  

• Lead a technical group through the entire project cycle from establishing and defining client requirements, to building broad understanding of technical work program all thru the implementation of the programming process.
• Work with Business Process Analysts, Applications Consultants, Web Designers, and/or Producers to define software requirements and assess feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; Participate in user requirements and specification meetings, review software requirements, and functional design and provide feedback.
• Consult with network and other development staff to evaluate database design, system structure, interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
• Develop software, conduct unit testing, work with assigned client project manager to coordinate / assist in user testing procedures.
• Develop and maintain project plans and ensures accurate and complete project documentation.
• Coordinate the installation of software systems and databases.
• Work with on-site or internal project manager to review problems, define and test solutions, and develop reports for user management.
• Schedule work of staff based on priorities and client commitments; conduct technical reviews and provide technical assistance to less experienced team members.
• Assist in development of technical and documentation standards, software engineering best practices, processes and policies; enforce compliance with established project processes.
• Assist team members with questions and decision making; mentors staff on project planning, tracking, methods and processes and the like.
• Plan and conduct technical training modules for junior software engineers.
• Conduct self in an appropriate, professional manner at all times, working effectively in diverse, multifunctional and multicultural environments
• Reports, tracks and communicates project status and issues; analyzes, investigates and determines remedial action on outstanding project issues.
• Perform such other tasks and responsibilities as required by projects and/or as directed by your direct supervisors and the Management.

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): at least 3 years experienced in Java or Ruby, MySQL, and Linux
• Preferably Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
• Preferably experienced in e-commerce development

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge in Java or Ruby development
• Linux basic command required, MySQL basic knowledge required
• Skill of requirement definition, specific definition, and various API linkage
• Experienced in development with AWS (RDS, EC2, ALB, cloudfront, s3, etc.), or maven, ansible, unicorn : (At least 2 years)
• Experienced in performance testing, performance tuning, transaction management experience
