Job Description
- Making judgments on matters of greater editorial and ability to prioritize and interpret the key stories of the day
- Overseeing and editing daily article in Hype or Entertainment desk. Work closely with reporters to respond of any issues that arise and ensure news deadlines are met
- Collaborate with Editor in Chief IDN Times to determine and prioritize Hype content and topics (entertainment, film, viral, humor, fun fact, throwback, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
- At least have 3 years of experience as Editor at the online media company, especially in Entertainment / Hype Desk
- Strong journalism background with proven writing and news editing skills, exceptional organizational skills and experience managing news reporters
- Attention to detail, combined with an appreciation of the 'bigger picture'
- Have good communication and leadership skills
