Job Description
- Contribute to the study and analysis of industry standards (EMVCo, Rupay, MCCS etc.)
- Contribute to the review of detailed software specification and software test plan
- Contribute to creation and updates of software test description document
- Develop and execute test scripts and profiles to verify & validate functional and non-functional capabilities of products / applications
- Improve continuously the software test descriptions and test scripts based on review comments, bugs found as well as others inputs
- Create personalization scripts as per specifications
- Provide support during certification process
- Deliver all assigned tasks on time and with the required quality
- Undertake testing activities during post issuance maintenance and improvements of applications
- Contribute to strong collaboration with integrated project team and with several R&D sites globally
- Propose and develop tools to improve time-to-market as well as quality of applications
- Contribute to process improvement by making proposals
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor / Master Degree in IT / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent from reputable university with minimum GPA 3,00
- Minimum 1-3 years of related experience(s) in verification & validation of embedded products. Fresh graduates with exceptional academic would also be considered
- Candidates with software development experience but keen interest in building career in software Verification & Validation can also apply
- Excellent understanding of different types of tests (blackbox, whitebox, stress etc.)
- Programming skill using C, Java and / or any script language to generate test profiles / test scripts
- Experience in root cause analysis, prioritization and reporting of issues
- Bug tracking with any bug tracking tool
- Understanding of Software Inspection concept
- Experience in verification & validation in smartcard environment and Javacard environment would be a strong plus
- Experience in / knowledge of Cryptographic algorithms, software security concepts and security protocols would be strong plus
- Experience in / knowledge of ant of the payment industry standards (EMVCo, Rupay, MCCS etc) would be an added advantage
- Working experience with emulators, simulators and protocol analysis tools is a must
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skill
- High proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong team player; ability to work in diverse team and dynamic work environment
- Pro-active, target oriented and willing to go in details
- Self motivated, self driven, with positive and can–do attitude
