Shift Supervisor  

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the Baristas in maintaining the quality of service and product. This position enforces all procedures in the absence of the Store Manager. The Shift Supervisor will fulfill any other duties the Store Manager or District Manager assigns.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach Team Members.
  • Consistently enforce policies by prompt issuance of corrective action against erring employees.
• Set and maintain high performance standards for self and others that support Company’s strategic plan and holds self and other Team Members accountable for achieving results.
• Work on Team Members’ involvement on short or long-term store or company goals thru effective shift huddles, and individual coaching.
• Maintain a physical work environment that contributes to the well-being of others.
• Use company resources with the same care and efficiency as one’s possession.
• Make suggestions for increasing the effectiveness of changes, systems, and results.
• Complete all work according to procedures and standards to achieve results and prevent losses.
• Ensure store’s sales growth and consistent improvement of bottom line result is attributable to excellent shift management.
  • Zero or controlled equipment downtime and zero accident during shift.
• Proactively report mistakes, rework or recurring issues, breakdowns, inefficiencies, and variations from established systems and processes.
• Ensure store audits fall within acceptable rating of nothing below 85%.
• Inspire others to translate C.U.S.T.O.M.E.R. Credo into actions and results as seen in the mystery shopper rating.
• Respond to change with a positive attitude.
• Show willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives.

• 2- 3 years experience.
  • Preferably in a supervisory position in a specialty store or food establishment.
• Register and cash handling experience.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
