Job Description
- Checks the correctness and quality of work of Payroll Processors
- Reviews the team’s work assignment and allocates tasks accordingly
- Monitors, implements, and improves internal controls and processes for Payroll Operations Team
- Manages, coaches, leads, and provides direction to the Payroll Processors
- Attends meetings with the management and reports the performance of the team in terms of their attainment of objectives and key results
- Evaluates the quality of work and performance of the Payroll Processors and ensures that they attain their targets
- Handles escalations related to payroll disputes and plans the resolution
- Provides strategic input to the team in terms achieving the targets, resolutions of issues, and quality control.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any business-related or human resource management course
- Preferably an accounting graduate or with accounting background
- Has at least 5 years of experience in local and/or international payroll, compensation, and benefits
- Has at least 3 years leadership experience in managing people in a BPO setting
- Has overall understanding of payroll, compensation, and benefits
- Preferably with experience in outsource payroll/ BPO industry focused on payroll processing
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills especially MS Excel
- Has good attention to details
- Able to work under pressure
- Advantage if Payroll Certified / Payroll Certification
