Job Description
- Performs project management responsibilities in a waterfall methodology.
- Manages the Scrum process with the coordination of Scrum Team in Agile methodology.
- Ensures that the Scrum Team adheres to Scrum theory, practices and rules.
- Acts as a servant-leader for the Scrum Team.
- Facilitates Scrum events (e.g. Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective) as needed and ensures that they are conducted as scheduled.
- Ensures effective Product Backlog management.
- Removes impediments to Scrum team’s progress.
- Ensures that Scrum Team does not over-commit to what they can achieve during a Sprint.
- Acts as coach/mentor to Scrum Team members
- Work with other Scrum Masters to increase effectiveness of Scrum application in the organization
- Ensures compliance to operational level agreements with internal and external entities as applicable;
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline from a college/university
• Minimum of 3 years IT related experience
• Extensive knowledge on Systems Development Life Cycle.
• Strong Background in Project/Delivery Management
• Open for Project-based Employment
