Job Description
- Compliance documentation
- Coordinating and scheduling backup/recovery; and
- Performing Disaster Recovery Testing
- Service Level Agreement monitoring
- Access and identity monitoring
- Coordinating (but not performing) server and database patches
- Audit trail monitoring
- Small enhancements/configuration changes to software
- Coordinating software management
- Interfacing/coordinate with multiple areas of the business and IT (Functional Areas and Infrastructure)
- Collecting and processing demands from business users
- Performing Incident and Problem Management
- Performing Change Management
- Working with IT infrastructure to remediate, replace, migrate, or decommission legacy systems or infrastructure items
- Decommissioning (Retiring) systems
- Coordinating System Archiving
Minimum Qualifications
- College Degree in any IT related field
- 3-5 years of experience in system administration and troubleshooting
- Experienced in using a Scheduling Software
- Experienced in using a Monitoring Software
- Patching (Ivanti+WSUS)
- System Administration in Windows Server Operating Systems (W2K3, W2K8R2, W2K12, W2K16)
- Competences in IT Hardware
- VMWare Administration
- Basic knowledge in Network
- Experienced in ITIL framework
- System administration in Unix Operating Systems Linux RHEL 5.x or above (or HPUX 11.x)
- Administration of a main Backup Software (Veeam, Commvault)
- Competencies in Storage or in Cloud
- Basic knowledge in Databases (SQLServer, or/and Oracle)
- Scripting
