Job Description
- Prepare drawing markups, calculations, schedules, and other design-related documents including BOM
- Develop technical specifications to meet project requirements
- Use a range of computer software for developing detailed designs
- Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met in all designs
- Review electrical drawings prior to implementation
- Prepare as-built drawings, red line diagram, and actual BOQs
- Sign and Seal detailed design drawings and as-built documents
- Perform site visits as needed
- Oversee electrical works execution and provisioning (including AC system, Rectifier, Batteries, Grounding and provisioning of other telecom facilities)
- Liaise with other disciplines within the CME Project Team for coordination of relevant works and ensure all requirements/specifications are met
- Responsibilities will also include client contact and interface
- Work closely with Business Development team to prepare for bids, material/supplier selection and review of SOW and prices
- Manage other multi-disciplined projects
- Manage Subcontractors on matters related to electrical works
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of related working experience required
- BS/MS Degree, Professional License in Electrical Engineering
- Proficient with relevant design software/tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Telecom/Building Electrical provisioning and standards
- Ability to prepare Engineering/Electrical Designs, SLD, Load Schedules, BOM
- Have a thorough knowledge of local codes/standards and latest industry practices/regulations (telecoms)
- A good understanding of safety procedures and EHS standards
- Highly analytical and results-oriented
- Strong leadership, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel/perform site visit/with valid driver’s license
- Experience working with PH MNO and/or Major Telecom Vendor is a plus
