Job Description
- Perform administration activities to locally hosted HW (servers, data storage, UPS, etc) and middleware (databases, Lotus Notes, etc).
- Resolve reported issues / problems encountered on server and database services within the agreed service level.
- Resolve reported vulnerabilities covering servers and database assets within the prescribed turnaround time based on severity levels.
- Regularly update the configuration management database of changes in the inventory and configuration of IT assets.
- Regularly monitor and ensure server room facility is running adequately and in accordance with published standards.
- Ensure that all IT assets are covered by the appropriate service / maintenance support agreements and each asset’s useful lifespan.
- Monitor server performance and capacity utilizations, and report need for upgrades when appropriate.
- Support testing and deployment of systems developed or purchased from external vendors.
- Ensures that all compliance matters are identified and openly and honestly reported to the Line Manager and/or Compliance Officer in accordance with the reporting requirements operated within the work unit and the Company.
- Perform other functions as may be assigned.

Education/Professional
- College degree in Bachelor of Science, preferably Major in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics

- Windows Server Administration (2008, 2012)
- VMWare Management and Administration
- EMC VNX Management
- Backup technology
- Data Center Management
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server
- Lotus Notes Domino Administration
