Job Description
- Will be Responsible for Large Projects or segment of a large complex Project.
- Will Lead team on Large Projects or segment of a large complex project.
- Will Translates customer requirements into formal agreements and plans to culminate in customer acceptance of results, or have acceptance in the targeted market, while meeting business objectives.
- Will be responsible for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements for their project/segment of the project, according to their project charter.
- Manage the expectations of the customer with regard to solution functionality and deployment process
- Coordinate program/project activities for adherence to program/project plan & goals.
- Monitor results against established timelines, deliverables, tasks, dependencies & associated technical specifications.
- Responsible for adhering to established policy and procedures, including PMO policies and procedures, with respect to project management methodology, quality assurance & other related standards.
- Manage project development process to include monitoring project scope & change control processes
- Report on project success criteria results, timeline, metrics, test and deployment activities
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
- Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
- Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders
- Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
- Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree in Information Systems / Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent
- PMP Certification or Equivalent
- With Data Migration PM Experience; highly preferred
- At least 8 years solid experience in Project Management
- At least one (1) year Core Banking Project Implementation or equivalent
- With Experience in managing/implemening Multiple Applciation
- With Experience in implementing Software application using Java
- With Experience in waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
- With in-depth knowledge in Quality Management and Risk Management
- Experience performing in an IT program/project management role for small to medium scale, complex IT projects
- Knowledge of IT Project Management processes, procedures, documentation and reporting criteria per PMI/PMBOK methodologies
- Experience performing detailed work planning, risk assessments, and associated risk mitigation actions
- Experience analyzing business and systems needs to develop project plans including tasks, resource estimates, team members, deliverables (e.g. test and training plans), procedures and design documents
- Ability to analyze comprehensive business processes, complex problems, interprets operational needs, perform in-depth work analysis, and develop process flows
- Demonstrated effective conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Flexible, self-directed and motivated individual, able to accommodate to shifting priorities
- Provide leadership skills by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
- Must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral; along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish priorities, demonstrate discipline and independent judgment
