Job Description

  • Set tools and objectives for the Company
  • Develop budgets and ensure business unit adheres to it
  • Participate in developing policies and procedures
  • Hire, train and terminate workers as needed
  • Establish a Performance Culture with clear KPIs
  • Handle employee relations
  • Manage and direct overall operations
  • Set goals for each department
  • Clearly communicate goals to department heads
  • Measure the success of each department
  • Manage support staff
  • Generate and present reports on departmental goals
  • Motivate and encourage employees
  • Participate in lead generation and business development
  • Ensure high customer and client satisfaction
  • Solicit customer feedback
  • Promote company's mission and values
  • Set district and regional goals
  • Creatively think of ways to grow the business and elevate it to a new level
  • Suggest new processes, policies, and procedures that can improve the way company does business
  • Prepare presentation decks and materials for monthly / quarterly update to top management
  • Enthusiasm for the job as well as possessing integrity, competence, compassion and strong team dynamics

Minimum Qualifications

Managers may be required to work over and beyond normal working hours from time to time in order to pursue business opportunities, requirements and / or goals. Having said this, The company will always be cognizant of the fact that all the team members have lives outside the office and will strive to protect and nurture work-life balance in the best way possible and consistent with Company's core values.

  • COLLEGE DEGREE is Required. A Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Proven working experience as a Business Unit Manager / General Manager
  • 10+ years of overall combined experience in Sales, Marketing, Operations and General Management
  • Background in Transportation and logistics is a PLUS
  • Firm grasp of Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR and Sales
  • Strategic Thinker, Big Picture Orientation and proven ability to execute and deliver results
  • Excellent Communicator and adept in Organization / Talent Development
