Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring and improvement of jobs and procedures within Oracle DB

• Daily monitoring of running jobs, spot trends in their performance
• Suggest and implement optimization
• Develop and maintain in-house scheduling/prioritization tool for PL/SQL procedures
• Standardize procedures (logging system, documentation)
• Participate in code review

2. Data calculation and storage architecture

• Suggest architecture of data tables, packages procedures and functions within the department
• Rewrite commonly used pieces of code to PL/SQL procedures/package

3. Automated Reporting

• Develop and maintain a solution for automatic refreshing and sending of the reports (OBI, Excel VBA, Python, later Tableau)
• Solution for automated upload of data (trackers, rosters, ...) from business to DB for reporting

4. Data Quality monitoring

• Prepare solution for checking source data (load of DataMart, comparison of data between systems)
• Maintain a list of tickets from CRS department, follow up with IT

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Engineering (Computer/IT), Mathematics or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the similar field is required for this position, in process and analysis design with business process analysis/changes.
• Experience from the Risk department in Project Management, collections.
• Experience with Oracle query optimization - Explain plan, best practices
• Experience with programming (PL/SQL, VBA, and Python)
• Well versed skill(s) in using Excel (pivot tables / charts), Tableau.
• Have knowledge of DB architecture (normal forms,).
• Knowledge about data calculation process and possibilities
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Fluent English (written, spoken)
