Job Description
- Prepares the syllabus and plantilla for the grade/year level assigned to her.
- Integrates the objectives of the school in her lesson plan.
- Prepares well-planned lessons and submits them to the subject are head on time.
- Prepares board work, instructional materials before classes.
- Makes provisions for fast and slow learners.
- Personally checks unit tests, quarterly exams and quizzes.
- Submits record books to the subject area head according to schedule.
- Accounts for the whereabouts of the students during her class.
- Coordinates with the class adviser any activity that will be involved in her subject.
- Refers academic and disciplinary problems to the class adviser/subject head.
- Attends subject area meetings punctually and regularly.
- Begins and ends class on time.
- Substitutes for an absent teacher when needed.
- Attends faculty meetings and other school activities punctually and regularly.
- Conducts remedial classes when needed.
- Confers with parents regarding the deportment and academic performance of the students.
- Supervises in the line formation after recess and lunch break.
- Performs other related duties that may be assigned/delegated by the Principal.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree major in Mathematics/MAPEH/TLE/English/Science;
- PRC License holder is an advantage;
- Required Skill (s): Good classroom management;
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
