Job Description
- Assists sales personnel with equipment demonstration, product testing, technical support, new concepts and requirements of the customers.
- Provides assistance in customers’ product research/menu development, product costing, training, business development, troubleshooting etc…(Serves as a link between the equipment and clientele, were as it enables to provide customers with business concepts and menu recipes that “tailor fit” their needs).
- Coordinates with engineering/equipment testing section in equipment evaluation, testing, and analysis - to ensure that the equipment that the company recommends to the customer/s are properly scrutinized and has undergone a rigid quality testing in order to match their needs and requirements.
- Works closely with the R & D department, Systems and Operations of top food chains/hotels in the country for equipment evaluation & product testing.
- Provides food consultation services to clients.
- Provides after - sales service (such as technical support, product development, and parameters standardization) for out of town and even clients abroad.
- Assists on equipment workshops and tradeshows.
- In – charge of the test kitchen facilities and schedule, monitoring and replenishing of budget intended for test kitchen activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of either one of the following courses: Hotel & Restaurant Management, Food Technology, Nutrition, Dietetics, Culinary Arts, or equivalent courses
- At least 2 years of work experience in product development, product formulation and commercialization from a Quick Service Restaurant or food / raw materials manufacturing setting
- Organized, with good analytical and planning skills, handles details well
- Preferably female
- Has technical knowledge and experience in use of ingredients including ingredient testing and substitution
- Has background in food safety and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Willing to conduct training and demonstrations nationwide
- Can start immediately
