Job Description
MAIN ROLE:
The Content Strategy Manager is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of content strategies for Hinge brands across owned, paid, and earned assets. This role is also responsible for setting performance targets across different channels: owned assets, social, YouTube, and other platforms.
This role will partner closely with the Content (Editorial/Creative/Custom) and Business Development/Marketing departments to manage and oversee all aspects of content development including social listening, monitoring of trends, reviewing analytics and insights across our platforms to drive engagement and conversion.
This role is also responsible for managing user experience and customer journey across our online and offline touchpoints.
SCOPE OF IMPACT / DEGREE OF INDEPENDENCE:
Leads the activities of a broad functional area.
Assists executives and/or other senior leaders in defining functional goals and strategic plans.
FUNCTIONAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Content strategy and development; audience acquisition, retention and engagement
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the execution of our content strategies particularly to:
- Recommend action plans to improve traffic, engagement, and retention
- Track performance through analytics
- Evaluate new tools and initiatives that can help boost the performance of Hinge brands
Brand Building and Business Development
- Work with the Content, Business Development, and Revenue teams to identify and drive new business opportunities and support revenue growth for our media and branded content business.
- Mine consumer, competitive, and industry research to uncover meaningful insights that will drive content creation and revenue generation.
- Convert client briefs into creative executions that harness Hinge’s unique ability to deliver engagement and influence.
- Work with the Revenue team in tracking and optimizing campaigns to meet committed KPIs.
- Check client contracts and proposals with digital component
- Recommend digital executions / products aligned to client briefs
- Improve performance of client campaigns. Create presentation / reporting templates for digital campaigns, for sales teams’ use.
Strategy and Future-Proofing
- Drive culture of learning and transformation by keeping up to date on relevant skills, software, tools, and industry trends—in digital, marketing, ad space, and content marketing—and facilitating knowledge transfer. In consultation with the other key leaders, you will also oversee the creative and professional development of the assigned team, including scaling up relevant skill sets.
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Journalism or Mass Communication, Marketing or equivalent
- 4 - 7 + years of work experience in strategy, content management or product marketing
- With experience in Digital Marketing (Web, Social Media, Email, Mobile)
- With Digital/Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience
- Digital Content Production and Digital Marketing (Writing, Strategies)
- Hootsuite and Sprout Social (Social Media Monitoring Site)
- Knowledgeable about analytics, digital platforms
- Familiarity with Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal CMS System or any web marketing system
- Can handle special digital projects (End-to-End)
- Knowledge of one or more business skills domains and the desire to go deeper
- Exceptional analytical and strategic skills and a proven ability to solve complex problems
- A strong appetite for taking risks, learning, and applying those learnings to move fast
- Using data to identify issues and create clear actions to improve website performance and KPIs
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand business problems, develop hypothesis, test and learn
- Ability to manage time and priorities while driving multiple projects at once
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders and business partners across the organization and at various levels (technical to creative – individual contributors to managers)
