Job Description
- Operates ultrasound equipment, using a specialized probe to navigate a person’s body to find the area that needs to be diagnosed by the doctor.
- Checks and verifies patient’s identity, test request, clinical findings; give proper instruction to patients prior to the examination; obtains consent form necessary for the procedure.
- Schedules special ultrasound examinations.
- Updates schedule and records equipment calibration and preventive maintenance requirements following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Updates and records daily maintenance of equipment and reports any malfunctioning.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of BS Radiology Technology
- At least 2 years work experience
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Attention to details, the ability to follow precise instructions and procedures accurately
