Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluates scanned images of the heart that will help the cardiologist determine which images should be saved and which should be discarded.
- Interviews, take medical histories, explain the procedure and position patients in resting positions or upon treadmill so that the images turn out properly.
- Assess/ assigns 2DECHO reader depending on the requesting doctor.
- Updates schedule and records equipment calibration and preventive maintenance requirements following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Updates and records daily maintenance of equipment and reports any malfunction.
- Checks supply stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must be a graduate of BS Medical Technologist, BS Nursing or BS Radiologic Technology with Training Certificate
- With at least 2 years working experience
- Must be patient or customer service oriented
- Must be good in communication skills both (oral and written)
