Job Description
As Facilities Operations Manager, you will design and implement programs that will enhance, improve and sustain overall Facilities Operations. You will be managing highly technical engineers and technicians and work as a team to have a seamless facility equipment operation with zero downtime. You shall be an independent problem solver, have exceptional communication and organizational skills and an excellent team player as well. You shall be an enthusiastic, motivational role model with a sincere interest in people including their development and personally committed to a balanced work-life atmosphere. You shall be directly responsible in meeting both Department and Company’s KPIs within the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operation and Maintenance Manager - In-charge of daily Plant Operation that covers critical Manufacturing Support Utilities like the following;
- Operation & Maintenance of manufacturing cleanrooms (Class 100, 10k, & 100k).
- Ventilation & Air-Conditioning (AHU's, UEF's, FEF's, FCU's, & ACU's)
- Compressor Systems (Hitachi & Ingersoll Rand)
- Brine Chiller Systems (Ethylene Glycol Solution)
- Vacuum Systems
- Process Cooling Water
- Dry Coil System
- DI / UDI Water System
- Cleanroom air showers & pass box
- Cleanroom Monitoring & Certification
- Cleanroom Parameters Monitoring System (Temperature & %RH, Pressurization, & Particle Counts) for Class 10k, 100, and Normal Room
- Generate annual maintenance budget and savings opportunities for the team.
- Review and execute annual CAPEX and Spending budget of work responsibility
- Update all ISO (Quality/Environment/OHS) documents/records and ensure 100% compliance to requirements
- Review and ensure compliance of all company, department standard and work instructions relevant to manufacturing utility operation and maintenance
- Generate monthly report of all Key Performance Index and ensure all KPIs are within normal operational level
- Provide quarterly CAPEX projects related to utility system improvements
- Ensure that company policy, objectives and targets are realized and included in the team’s mission.
- Guarantee the continuous supply of manufacturing utilities in a fully dynamic manufacturing operations.
- Review and ensure 100% compliance to all regulatory requirement pertaining to facility equipment’s operations
- Collaborate with other REO Facilities Operation team on other sites to work on special projects that would improve operation and generate savings in the company.
- Develop and administer technical training programs to enhance skills of engineers and technicians
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
- Minimum 15 years of experience working as Facilities Operations Manager
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, with working knowledge on MS Project
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
PREFERRED:
- Previous working experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing companies
- Wide experience on facilities operations
SKILLS:
- Highly competent, technically capable and can act decisively in addressing issues related to facilities operations within a short period of time
- Demonstrated an excellent leadership skills that will motivate, develop and inspire his subordinates in achieving goals and objectives of the company
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities, at all levels within an organization
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task, work under pressure and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions to determine client needs
- Ability to make clear, logical decisions based on facts, taking into consideration the big picture, long and short term effects, and exercising sound judgment when handling complaints, operational, confidential and sensitive issues
- Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent positive results through influencing, coordinating and managing the efforts of others
