Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate and maintain Inventory Management policies and procedures to assure the uninterrupted flow of material in support of production build schedules
  • Generating Master Production Schedules and Manufacturing Orders, forecasting inventory requirements, optimizing inventory levels as well as helping the organization evaluate and implement an inventory management system
  • Work closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Operations and Finance Teams to plan and monitor inventory levels.
  • Supervises requirements planning for department, division, project, or organization
  • Analyze capacity and resource requirements and coordinate necessary adjustments
  • Responsible for accurate raw materials, and finished goods inventory levels; accuracy of product data for finished product
  • Generate budgets, action plans and strategies to support and accommodate changes required by the organization.
  • Meet with the Production Managers and Planners on a regular basis to validate the production schedule, status open work orders, and establish priorities
  • Develop and report progress on strategy, tactics and plans to ensure timely supply of materials and services of the highest value in support of the operating plan.
  • Effectively communicate exceptions to established/agreed upon schedules to all affected parties internal/external of the company
  • Develop a succession plan for key and high potential personnel to assure uninterrupted services and sustain operational efficiencies
  • Full implementation of capacity planning techniques and production planning for both discrete and repetitive product manufacturing
  • Abide by all safety, quality, housekeeping and company policies/procedures to ensure compliance to all regulatory and internal system requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering majoring in Industrial, Manufacturing, Operations, Business Administration and related field
  • 7-10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing process preferably in apparel industry
  • Understands operations and process flow related to the construction of a garment (e.g. Fabric inspection, cutting, heat transfer, sewing, finishing, and shipping).
  • Basic technical understanding of the sewing construction of apparel products
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional organization and planning skills
  • Self-motivated individual who possesses the ability to analyze, organize, plan, prioritize assignments, multi-task and achieve results through the motivation/development of others
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and verbal/written communication skills required for interacting with all levels of personnel both internal and external to the organization
  • Ability to develop realistic/achievable action plans to support organizational strategies
  • Willing to be based in Central Luzon/Cebu and travel inland and abroad
