Job Description

  • Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers;
  • Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders;
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as staff intranet, monthly magazine or regular email bulletin.
  • Communicating brand to internal customers and stakeholders;
  • Being as the company spokesperson on the media and the general public;
  • Marketing budget development and cost tracking;
  • Distribute executive messages;
  • Presentations and/or speeches geared toward employees;
  • Manage PR crisis.
  • Ensure staffs are aware of changes and projects within the company;
  • Conducts meetings to share information;
  • Develop and distribute materials that may explain or convey the company’s policies or position on issues;
  • Any ad hoc tasks as assigned by line manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications.
  • A Master degree may be preferred.
  • PMP qualified is preferred but not essentials;
  • Charted Institute of Marketing or the Chartered Institute of Public Relations is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience;
  • A proven ability to lead communications strategies in other organisations.
  • Excellent command in both written and spoke English;
  • Good command for Asian language(s) / European language(s) is an advantage but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office is a must;
  • Confident communicator and presenter;
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential.
  • Confident;
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills;
  • Excellent negotiation skills;
  • Superior project management and time management skills;
  • Innovation;
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media / social media;
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
