Job Description
- Oversees projects from the start to completion.
- Ensures that work is completed on time and within its budget.
- Works on a wide variety of projects.
- Negotiates sub-contract orders and monitors sub-contractors, plans critical dates, or organizes labor.
- Helps any disputes which come up.
- Identifies areas for improvement in the company’s contracting processes.
- Ensures procurement and reconciliation of materials is carried out in accordance with Company procedures.
- Attends tender handover meetings and delivers pre-start meetings to the site team.
- Produces and analyzes progress reports, updated costs, and forecasts.
- Ensures weekly review of progress, budget resources and forward planning are carried out, and look ahead programs are in place.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any Engineering course with 8 years related experience (managerial capacity) in a construction industry.
- In-depth understanding on all aspects of the contracting process and technical building requirements.
- Good Interpersonal Skills and can easily establish relationships with a wide range of people.
- Good Communication and Decision Making Skills.
- Must be well-organized and capable of meeting deadlines.
