Job Description
- Maintain and make necessary adjustments to various records and/or logs such as journals, payroll/ time reports, or property records.
- Sort documents and post debits/credits to proper account.
- Balance entries and makes necessary corrections.
- Verify statement items and totals with department records.
- Reconcile simple bank statements or department records.
- Make and check necessary calculations.
- Prepare forms or encodes materials for data input.
- Prepare or check invoices, requisitions, and other documents for processing.
- Encode and obtain approval when necessary.
- Compile routine numerical information for report purposes by hand or by running routine recurring reports on internal computer records.
- Perform clerical duties such as sorting mail, filing, and typing.
- Operate variety of general office equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Accountancy, Financial Management, or any Management or Accounting-related courses.
- With 1 year experience handling general accounting and payables.
- Knowledge and experience on taxation is an advantage but is not required.
- Knowledgeable of basic business math.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
