Job Description
- Corporate
- Identify, recommend, and implement strategic action plans relative to the improvement and efficiency of the operations department.
- Responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management System.
- Promote and ensure that the Company’s Vision, Mission, Quality Policy, and Policies and Procedures are understood and implemented throughout the project.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to Management regarding improvements in the working conditions of the team.
- Responsible for the development of direct reports.
- Operational
- Manage the over-all operation of projects.
- Estimate and revalidate material, equipment, tools, and manpower costs for all projects.
- Prepare an in-house estimate for projects for bidding or negotiation with clients and client contractors.
- Establish and maintain a standardized process flow system that will ensure smooth proper mobilization, efficient implementation, timely completion, and coordinated hand over to owner and service.
- Manages and controls project costs within the approved budget ensuring materials inventory, wastage, and scraps are kept within acceptable or minimum levels, safeguarding the Company assets from loss, damage, or theft.
- Make repair and replacement decisions to minimize re-work incidents.
- Plan and prepare work schedules for projects to be efficient.
- Improve the efficiency of site operations.
- Coordinate and meet with clients regarding various site activities and other related project requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor the timely submission of progress billings in conjunction with work accomplishment and follow up outstanding accounts.
- Monitor handover inspection and completion of the project.
- Lead the environmental, health, and safety program in the project sites.
- Address customer concerns and inquiries via phone, email, or correspondence letters with the help and in coordination with the Business Development Manager
- Prepare project operations reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Civil Engineering and equivalent;
- Experience: At least 5-10 years of work experience in the related field;
- Has experience in Hydroseeding or Construction, preferred;
- Has people management skills;
- Has good problem solving skills;
- Has a strategic mindset, yet willing to do the nitty gritty daily tasks.

We handle numerous evolving projects, all at different stages in the sales pipeline. Projects transition through initial inquiries, to project planning, onto project implementation and often post-installation maintenance as well. All this happens alongside regular progress tracking/documentation and ongoing remote support of past projects. This makes the company fast-paced, with lots of room for growth with the right people in place, giving the potential for internal career development as the company grows.
