Financial Analyst  

The Financial Analyst should be able to, but not limited to, perform the following:

• In-charge of compensation management. Provide financial and analytical support for the monthly incentive compensation, accounting, and forecasting processes
• Respond to ad-hoc projects related to, but not only limited to, the incentive compensation program
• Plan and implement process improvement within the Finance department
• Analyze data to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed
• Cash reconciliations and payment date accounting
• Financial modeling and analysis
• Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position or budget variance analysis
• Investigate and report to Management any inconsistencies or improprieties
• Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the division’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan
• Demonstrate appropriate understanding or working knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), internal controls, and apply them
• Describe an insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to management to drive good business results

• A graduate of BS Accountancy
• CPA board passer
• With at least 1-year Accounting or Finance work experience; preferably in a retail industry
• Has an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and knowledge of Statutory accounting principles
• Excellent MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis, and resolve complex problems
• Experience in financial modeling is a plus
